The Museum of African American History honors visionaries whose achievements uphold the legacy of 18th and 19th century African Americans and other stalwart patriots who embodied a commitment to freedom, education and justice for all Americans.

The Silver Cup was presented to William Lloyd Garrison by black community leaders for his unwavering commitment to education and the antislavery cause. Today a replica is presented to our Living Legends.
